Getting a tourist visa is very simple, and it takes approximately 7 days to process after your application is received by the Nepal Embassy. North American citizens can also get a visa on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. If you plan to get your visa on arrival at the airport, please make sure that you bring along 2 passport sized photographs to expedite the visa process.
