EVEREST AREA
This region is home to Sagarmatha National Park, a World Heritage Site and home to Mt. Everest. Trekking in this area is very popular and during the busy trek season the traffic is very heavy. The amazing scenery, diverse cultural exposure as you literally walk in the shadow of Everest will be an experience to always cherish. Most treks in this area begin at Lukla and you return on the same trail you went out on (out-and-back treks).

ANNAPURNA AREA
The Annapurna region is famous for it circuit treks (loops), and home to the Annapurna Conservation Area, the first and largest conservation area in Nepal. The town of Pokhara serves as the gateway to Annapurna region. The three primary treks in this area include treks to Jomsom and Muktinath, the Annapurna Sanctuary to Annapurna base camp and the Annapurna Circuit which circles Annapurna Himal. Many other two to eight day treks are also available. Spectacular scenery and diverse cultural exposure are hallmarks of treks into this region.

CHITWAN AREA
The Chitwan National Park, previously a hunting ground, was established in 1973 and is the first national park of Nepal. Located in the Terai region of Nepal, this national park was listed as a World Heritage Site on 1984, by UNESCO.
The Chitwan National Park is the third biggest tourist attraction in Nepal after the Kathmandu Valley, and Pokhara. It is well known for being the largest reserve in Nepal for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. It also has a significant population of the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian elephants, leopards, and many endangered species of birds.
The Chitwan National Park is accessible by road (approximately 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu) and also by air. The Bharatpur airport is the gateway to this national park and is located 20 kilometers away.

BARDIYA AREA
Bardia is located in the Western Terai region of Nepal, and is home to the Bardia National Park. Bardia National Park is approximately 968 Sq. Km. making it the biggest national park in Nepal. Although not as well known as Chitwan National Park, which is a world heritage site and home of the endangered one-horned rhino, Bardia National Park has its unique charm and receives a fair amount of visitors every year.
